Gilbert Engle is the president of New Jazz Media, Inc and has been working exclusively with Java since its first public release in the spring of 1996. Gilbert has been programming in total for more than 20 years. Gilbert's broad experience includes applets, servlets, JSP, JDBC, distributed applications and J2EE. One of Gilbert's more interesting projects was the development of an artificial life simulator that can run distributed over a network of connected computers. Gilbert graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
